Argyros Assyrtiko is a striking white wine from the volcanic island of Santorini, Greece. While predominantly Assyrtiko, it includes touches of Aidani, Athiri, Gaidouria, and Katsano. It offers a medium-bodied palate driven by piercingly high acidity and a 13.2% ABV. The estate is renowned for its ancient, basket-trained vines grown in pumice soils, which impart profound salinity and minerality to the wine. This bone-dry, coastal white is the ultimate pairing for shellfish and lean fish.
